The Woodstock Wildmen and Valley Rogues traveled to Moncton on Saturday, July 14 to face the Moncton Black Tide in a season home opener double header.

The men kicked off at noon. The first quarter of the game saw the Black Tide and Wildmen in a mash up of hard hits and even possession. In the end Black Tide used their size to their advantage and took the win, 54-0.

Because of limited numbers, the women played 10-a-side. Although the Rogues scored first early in the game, Black Tide was able to get the ball to their fast-footed backs. Final score: 68-5.

The Moncton Black Tide host the annual Parlee Beach 7s this Saturday, July 21st at Parlee Beach in Shediac, NB. All players and teams are welcomed as this is a unsanctioned tournament.
